Position Spin Doctor base plates under tile edges before setting tiles into the thin-set mortar. The threaded post should extend up through the grout joint. Space plates every 25–35cm along each edge for even leveling pressure.
Step 2: Press Tiles Into Thin-Set
Set the tile firmly onto the mortar bed with the threaded post protruding through the joint. Ensure the tile is seated evenly. The base plate remains under the tile permanently — only the post will be removed.
Step 3: Screw On the Twist Cap
Thread the orange Spin Doctor cap onto the post by hand. Rotate clockwise until the cap contacts the tile surface. Continue rotating to apply downward pressure — the cap pushes uneven tiles into alignment without any hammering or special tools.
