How to Use Tile Leveling Wedges — Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Position Clips Under Tiles
Place tile leveling clips under each tile edge as you lay them. Space clips every 20–30cm. Ensure the clip strap extends through the grout joint. For corners, place clips 5cm from the edge on both sides.
Step 2: Insert the Wedge Through the Clip
Slide the BM-C01 reusable wedge through the clip opening from the side. The tapered design allows smooth insertion. Push until the wedge makes firm contact with the tile surface on both sides.
Step 3: Tighten With Leveling Pliers
Use ergonomic tile leveling pliers to squeeze the wedge through the clip. Apply steady, controlled pressure — the wedge pulls the clip strap upward, bringing both tiles to the same level. Stop when tiles are flush.
Step 4: Remove Wedges After Curing
After 24 hours of curing, remove the wedges by pulling them out sideways. Unlike clips which break off, PE wedges can be reused on your next project. Simply clean and store for reuse.
